A modern interpretation of how a chair can look – when it is designed for human organic shape. A search of the 3D veneer’s potential and technical limit. The 3D shell is a monocoque shape, the strong shell does it can carry the pair of glued solid wooden legs.

The energy needed to produce wood is sunlight, water and CO2.  The processing and manufacturing of sustainable and legal wood is also easy on the environment compared to other materials. The use of 3D veneers makes it possible to press material saving shells – the shell thickness is 6 mm. The monocoque shape shell result in material saving leg frame. The glue and surface treatment is the most sustainable product on the marked. The design of the Daisy chair is designed to last and when the chair is done it can be safely recycled.
