Twisted ovals are the concept of the whole series in the legs, columns and arms/backrest. The twisted ovals give an interesting light/shadow reflection – which underline the twist.
The twist also has a constructive element that gives constructive stability in two directions. The twisted ovals gives an visuals effect dependent on which direction you look at the twisted ovals – a twist between “slim” and “thick”.
The whole image of the series has a twist of booth Japanese and Danish design tradition – especial the table and open shelf. It is the horizontal wooden layers with the very nice oval profile and together with the twisted oval columns or legs in between – which gives that feeling.
The twisted columns and legs also gives you a feeling of nature/growing tree then you are going around the furniture’s because the twisted columns and legs all the time is changing dimensions.
The chair invites you to seat down and make you comfortable in the chair. Feel the well-designed details and craftsmanship – the oval profile in the front of the armrest is the signature of the chair. The oval profile twist and extent on its way in through the arm and backrest. So it comforts your arms and your back. In the center of the backrest are three black inlays of black ebony – which underline the craftsmanship.
The chair is at one and the same time angular and round. The U- formed arm and backrest with the straight arms. The parallel twisted legs and the front and rear beam which reach for connection with the legs.
